[Vtun-Users] Using vtun over multicast

I will be setting up a some temporary kiosks in a conference center in
May. The center has WiFi already, on 4 channels, so setting up my own
wireless is not going to work - I tried it, today - with permission -
it not only did not work for me, but also caused problems with
whichever cell whose channel I happened to walk on.

Anyway, the contract with the center's management allows me to setup
my network, but their WiFi is operated by a third party with no
interest in being helpful. Both the center management and I have
carefully read the WiFi company's AUP and terms of service and
determined what is planned in not banned.

Anyway, I did notice a number of WiFi equipped devices showing up on
mDNS Service Discovery and was able to confirm that I can send
arbitrary UDP packets over the "local multicast" IP addresses between
my 2 laptops.

So, I am thinking maybe I could use vtun to tunnel over the WiFi using
multicast IP addresses. Will this work? Is there another solution
anyone here can suggest?
